TrailSteaks partnered with the team from Total Convenience Marketing (TCM) at the Texas Food and Fuel Show in San Antonio, Texas. We had a great show and as always we were very happy with the response to our unique, tender Steak Snacks.
For the second year TrailSteaks will manufacture Saddler’s Steak Snacks for Mapco Mart. TrailSteaks, LLC has partnered with SRC Technologies to launch a new, updated site which highlights TrailSteaks' relationship with RA Brands and the Remington Firearms Company. Jason Wilga, President of TrailSteaks, says that the new website fits well with TrailSteaks' commitment to provide the most tender and best tasting meat snacks to a wide range of consumers. IMC Licensing, the nation's leading full-service licensing agency specializing in consumer product brands, assisted in developing Remington’s partnership with Trail Steaks.
According to Cara Bernosky, IMC Licensing president and co-founder, “We are delighted to bring together Remington Arms and Trail Steaks to launch this line of premium steak snacks. Remington has an established and impressive portfolio of high quality licensed outdoor products, and we see great potential in linking this historic brand to food products that build the brand’s relationship with outdoor enthusiasts. At the same time, Trail Steaks is known for their mouth-watering premium fresh jerky and smoked meat products, including unique offerings like venison steak and turkey snacks, and is a great fit with the iconic Remington brand.”
Since it was founded in 1816 in upstate New York, Remington is one of the nation’s oldest continuously operating manufacturers and the only U.S. manufacturer of both firearms and ammunition products. Today Remington designs, produces and sells sporting goods products for the hunting and shooting sports markets as well as military, government and law enforcement markets.

The complete line of Remington Premium Meat Snacks will include premium jerky, steak snacks and sausage sticks, including venison steak and turkey snacks. These products will soon be available at sporting goods retailers as well convenience stores, club stores, grocery stores, home improvement stores, mass retailers, military stores, parks and resorts and as part of fund raisers in the United States and Canada. The product was introduced at the All Candy Expo in Chicago on May 20, 2008.
